Haircut

Mason had been growing his hair out for quite awhile and he finally agreed to cut it since baseball is getting ready to start and it will be a lot cooler and easier. He put up a good fight about not wanting it cut but he finally gave in.

A funny story....we were driving in the car the week before haircuts and we asked Mason if he wanted to get his cut. He said Noooooo and then said "let me sing it for ya" and sang in a loud goofy, cute and with some attitude "I don't think so". Even though we shouldn't have, Danny and I laughed and thought who is this kid! It was great!

Bombers Baseball 2009

Friday night was the kickoff party for the Ponca City Bombers baseball team. We have this party each year to discuss the upcoming season and to have some fun. Some of the games the boys (and Dad's) played were the frozen t-shirt game where each kid gets a frozen t-shirt and whoever figures out how to get it on the fastest wins a prize. Can you tell they are all pretty cold in their t-shirts once they finally got them on. Danny got to participate in the Cheetos head game. Each guy had to put on a shower cap and then you put shaving cream all over their head and the kids are put into teams and they throw Cheetos at their heads. Whoever gets the most Cheetos stuck on their persons head wins. Danny's team stuck 121 Cheetos to his head and won the game.

First Lutheran Sock Hop

The school hosts a sock hop each year for the kids to go and dance and eat and have a good time with their friends. They have a dance contest, bubble gum blowing contest (which Mason won in the little kids age group) and a live band playing 50's music. The boys had a great time.

New Years Eve 2008

We went to our friends Brooke and Darrens for New Years Eve and had the best time. They do a theme each year for their party and this year it was biker themed (hence the bandana on Brooke and the tattoo shirt Darren is wearing). Danny and I didn't dress up but maybe next year.

Another Christmas Visit

Dad and Jill and Misti, Morgan and Estella came over the week after Christmas and we had a good time visiting and I of course had a good time holding baby Estella.

Christmas

OK so I know it is February but I figured I would still go ahead and post some Christmas pics. Danny's family came in the weekend before Christmas and it was fun to see them and spend some time with them. Christmas day we spent just the four of us and let the boys open their presents.
