Fall Baseball
We have been playing fall baseball for a few weeks now. Both of the boys teams have been doing really well and Danny is helping coach both of their teams this fall.

Mason is finally 7!
My baby turned 7 on Sunday! As usual he counted down the days until it was his birthday. Having a summer birthday is hard for the little guy since all of his friends have their parties throughout the school year and he has to wait until July. He decided to have his first friend party this year and have some of his buddies over to swim, eat hot dogs, and have cake. After all of that we took the boys to putt putt which is our version of mini golf here in Ponca City. Mason had a great birthday and was happy that he could have his friends here.

4th of July Weekend
This 4th of July weekend was great! Friday night we ate dinner at our friends the Wohl's and the boys shot off fireworks and watched Rod shoot some "big" ones off too. Saturday we went to the Wohl's dock and stayed out all day long riding on the boat and the jet skis and just hanging in the sun. That night we took the boat to the middle of the lake and watched the city fireworks. We all had the best time this weekend!

Bombers Tournament & Bricktown
The Bombers played in Midwest City this weekend. We were rained out on Saturday and so instead of getting 3 pool play games and then starting bracket play we ended up only getting 1 pool play game and then starting bracket play. We tied our pool play game 2-2 and had to flip a coin with the other team to decide seeding. We ended up 3rd seed and played a team called the Rebels. We were up 4-2 in the first couple of innings but after that we just went downhill. Not sure exactly what happened to us but we ended up losing 9-4. With the loss we were done for the day and since it was only 2:30 we decided to take the kids down to Bricktown eat some dinner and take a boat ride through the canal. It was a beautiful day to be outside and we all had a great time.
Rangers Tournament - Edmond, OK
Mason's baseball team the Rangers played in Edmond last Saturday. We played 4 games in one day and the boys played some good baseball. This was our first tournament seeing some really good 7 year old teams and ended up 4th out of 4 teams but the kids had fun and learned a lot. The teams we played against were all really good teams and you could tell they play a lot of baseball. The boys had fun and that is all that matters, especially at this age. Don't Dalton and Matthew look like they are just having a blast watching the little kids. Ha!
1st Grade Field Trip
Mason's 1st grade class went to the Wichita, KS zoo a couple of weeks ago and we had a really good time even though we were rained on and soaked most of the day. My friend Jessica's little boy Landyn goes to the Lutheran daycare and I thought it would be fun if he got to "skip" daycare that day and go with us to the zoo. He is the sweetest little thing! I love the zoo!
First Lutheran Track Meet
The First Lutheran track meet was last Friday. Mason's team above ran the 400M relay and got first place! Mason also got first place in the target throw and 3rd place in the ball throw which he wasn't too happy about since baseball is his sport! He was happy to have done so well though. Matthew got first place in the ball throw for his grade which is awesome and he was super happy about it. I didn't take my camera and had to steal these from a friend of mine so I didn't get any of Matthew. Oh and you guessed it I was too late ordering Mason an official track meet t-shirt so he and I made him his own special shirt the night before. LOL

1ST PLACE TROPHIES!
Mason's team played in Enid this weekend in a 7u tournament and took 1st place! The boys played 4 games on Saturday and went undefeated. The last game we were winning 12-0 in the 2nd inning I believe and they called the game for storms so we drove home in a lightning storm. The boys thought it was awesome of course. In between games we took the boys to this little go cart track to have a little fun.
