It has been raining for so many days I cannot remember when it started! These pictures are of the field that sits across the street from our house and the alley where all of the rain comes down. At one point today we had about 4 inches of water on the screened in porch and I started to panic because I thought it was going to come into the house. I am so tired of the rain and it is really putting a damper on our baseball tournaments! That's Cole w/the boys in the seond picture - he's our next door neighbor.

Crazy Boys!
We played in the East/West State Tournament last weekend in Edmond. Our boys played so great and as you can tell by the picture had fun too. We did not get to finish the tournament due to rain but hopefully we can go back down next week and finish up. There are only 4 teams left out of 20 so the boys are really excited to get to go back and finish.

Swimming Lessons
Swimming
I finally got in the pool yesterday for the first time this summer. With all of the rain we have been getting the pool has been too cold for me but yesterday it was pretty hot so getting in wasn't that bad. Isn't my tan just gorgeous, sitting out at all of those baseball games gives you some pretty funky tan lines.
North State Tournament
Matthew's traveling team played in the North State Tournament this weekend and took 2nd place. We fought rain all weekend and ended up finishing the tournament Monday morning. In spite of all the rain delays the boys had fun and played some great ball.

Junior Golf
Matthew is attending the junior golf clinic being held at Wentz this week. They have 3 days of actual clinic and then they receive 4 play days where they are able to golf 18 holes with their age group and at the end of the clinic there is a tournament for them to participate in. Matthew says he is having a great time and learning a lot.
Family Weekend
Last weekend we had a full house here in Ponca City. My sister Christy, her husband Chris and their kids Ian and Lia were here along with my Mom and Dad and also my younger sister Misti and her boyfriend Mo. We had a great time eating at Enrique's and attending the herb festival which is held each year in Ponca City. Saturday night we cooked out and let the kids swim. The kids had a great time together and I was so glad everyone could come and see us.
Megan's Graduation
Danny recently traveled to Mississippi to attend his youngest sister's high school graduation. Megan was ranked 6th out of 285 graduating seniors and will enter the United States Military Academy at West Point with a full scholarship in the fall. We are so proud of Megan and her accomplishments! Danny was very glad he was able to see his family and play some golf! :)
