This is for my mother who keeps nagging me to update my blog! The boys and I went to Staples this morning to get a few things for the classes I am taking this summer and they decided to get some poster board to make a sign for her. With the boys out for summer and me with my classes something has to suffer and I guess it's been this blog. I will try and be better!

Tournament Champs!
We won 1st place this weekend in the Blackwell tournament! All of the boys played great and were really excited! The boys noticed the skate park as soon as we got into to town on our first night of playing ball and I told them that after the tournament was over that I would let them stop and skateboard. No one was injured - thank goodness!

Graduation Day!
Today was Mason's Pre-school graduation and he was so excited! The kids sang a song they had prepared about the alphabet, their teacher Mrs. Becker gave them their "diplomas" and last the kids served the parents ice cream cones. It was a special day for Mason and he can't wait to start Kindergarten next year at St. Mary's. The second picture is of Mason, his best friend Luke and Heather the girl he is going to marry. Isn't she beatiful! Mason said the reason he wants to marry her isn't because she is pretty but because she is a really good athlete just like him. The last picture is of him and his teacher Mrs. Becker.
Silly Putty
Mason was playing with his silly putty that I had put in his gift bag for graduation and accidentally got some in his hair. Before I could help him shampoo it out he went into the kitchen, removed the scissors and took care of it himself! I took him to see Tina and she "fixed" it as best as she could. Notice the bald spot right in front with a tinge of green silly putty?! Hopefully in a couple of weeks you won't ever know he did it!

Spring Music Program
The St. Mary's Spring Music Program was tonight and Matthew did such a great job playing the drum for the 1st and 2nd graders and also singing with his 4th grade class. Mason thought it would never end and when they sang the last song of the night he looked at me and said "Is it FINALLY over!?" Thats my boy! :)

Field Trip to the Zoo!
I went with Mason to the Wichita Zoo today for his class field trip. It was really muggy and hot but fun anyway. Mason thought the best part was when the gorilla came directly up to the window and in front of all of the boys started peeing! Being a boy, he thought it was great! The last time I went with a class to the Wichita Zoo was in 2002 when Matthew was in Pre-school II. I was 7 and 1/2 months pregnant with Mason at the time. The years have flown by. Mason and I had a great time today.
Mason lives for baseball even though he is not quite old enough to play in the league. He will take any opportunity to go outside with his Daddy and play some ball. Danny taught him how to steal and make sure gets back to the bag so he doesn't get picked off. He was in heaven and loved every minute of it.
